Beşir Bayar

He was born in Urfa in 1978. In 1997, he graduated from the Department of Architectural Drawing at Ş.Urfa Industrial Vocational High School. In 2002, he completed his studies in the Department of Painting and Art Education at İnönü University, Malatya. In 2023, he completed his Master's degree in the Department of Painting at the Fine Arts Institute, Hacettepe University.

He has held 15 solo exhibitions in Turkey and 1 abroad, and has participated in numerous exhibitions both in Turkey and internationally. His works were exhibited in both domestic and international competitions. In 2016, he won the Vernice Art Fair & Euroexpoart Gran Premio Europa award at the Vernice Art Fair in Forli, Italy, and in the same year, he received the third-place award at the painting competition organized for the 11th anniversary of Saküder. In 2018, he won an honorable mention at the 37th Painting Competition of the Turgut Pura Foundation.

He continues his work in his studio in Mersin.
