Enes Debran

Enes Debran

The artist's portraits are neither fictional nor real, neither alive nor dead, neither male nor female, seeking a balanced stance and realistic expression possibilities reminiscent of ancient sculptures in his works, which he mainly focuses on portraiture. These portraits, which do not reveal themselves and preserve their mysteries, represent the stuck state of human psychology and the purgatory mental structure. The portraits that emerge in a natural process manage to captivate the viewer. Defending that every work is a risk-taking and giving up, Debran's expressionist works feed on randomness. The artist, who has been experimenting with different materials on many materials, especially paper, graduated from Anadolu University Fine Arts Education Department in 2015. The artist lives and produces in Ankara.
