Hakan Çapkan

He was born in Mersin in 1979. He completed his primary and secondary education in Mersin. Between 1998-2002, he studied at Çukurova University, Faculty of Education, Department of Painting and Graphic Arts.

In 2002, he started working as a Visual Arts Teacher at the Ministry of National Education. He worked as an illustrator in the "Renkli Kafalar" Illustration team.

He has participated in many group exhibitions both in Turkey and abroad.

In his drawings, the artist highlights the relationship between nature, cities, and people. He presents works that express the effects of cities on people in the midst of social chaos, as well as his longing for nature, to the appreciation of art lovers.
