Halil Sercan Tunalı

1983 - Edirne Halil Sercan Tunalı, who started his studies after being accepted to the fine arts high school in 1997, attended drama courses at the state theater in order to broaden his artistic perspective while studying painting. In 2001, he entered Anadolu University Cartoon Department as the 3rd. During her education, she worked as a writer and illustrator in solo exhibitions, joint projects and a student magazine. Besides, he played the guitar in the music club. While organizing traditional school parties, he took care of every detail from finding sponsors to poster design, from designing brochures to finding a music band. He received praise for his stories, which he sent to Varlık magazine. He was deemed worthy of screenings and awards in many national and international festivals with his university graduation project film. After graduation, he went to Sydney, Australia as a student and supported some projects there as a character designer and animator. Then he returned to start his career in Turkey. While working for many companies, he went on a scholarship to study Filmmaking and Cinematography at the New York Film Academy. He moved to New York in 2012. After the education, he returned to Turkey to continue his projects. In 2015, Gobelins went to L'école De L'image school in Paris, this time to study Character Animation. After his education in France, he moved to Istanbul and still continues his studies from here.
