Yasin Uysallar

The artist, who chooses the material according to the form structure he wants to produce, creates new people by bringing together different body parts in his productions, and sets out from the human depictions of the period in which he lives. The figures of Uysallar, who present the characters he creates in his sculptures, colors and compositions belonging to another world, with the influence of the material itself, form a link between the past and the future, the truth and the lie. Using industrial materials such as silicone, plaster, concrete, bronze, aluminum, brass, polymer clay, play dough, polyurethane, epoxy, resin, polyester, acrylic, plastic and pigment, he uses both abstract and realistic elements to express his inner and outer world in his sculptures. Uysallar completed his education at Dokuz Eylül Fine Arts University, Department of Sculpture and continues his graduate studies at the same university. The artist lives and works in Izmir.
